Abstrak
The authors discuss participation of the social work students in the Mayerson Student Philanthropy Project (MSPP) at Northern Kentucky University, as part of a community engagement in social work study. Topics include understanding the needs of the community, various steps in the process of awarding the funds, and participation in a community engagement program improved students’ learning experience.
